Manage the general settings of the assortment module management solution.
In this Customizing activity, you can activate the solution for the assortment module management to use all its apps, services, and functions.
Furthermore, you can define the following basic settings of the solution:
- You can define the maximum percentage of available dialog work processes that can be used by assortment module management per call.
- You can define the inbound destination which the system uses for scheduling background Remote Function Calls (bgRFCs).
- You can define the lead time for advance
notifications that the system sends to users who are responsible for processing errors that occur during master data generation.
You can specify the users to whom the system sends advance notifications in Customizing for Logistics – General under Assortment -> Assortment Module Management -> Assign Responsible Users for Postprocessing Errors.
- You can specify whether the system ignores or considers the opening date and closing date of a site when calculating the respective listing conditions.
- You can use the retention period to define the number of days for which the system retains the assortment module versions after they have expired.
You can define the following basic settings of the assortment module management solution:

You can specify the users to whom the system sends advance notifications in the Assign Responsible Users for Postprocessing Errors configuration activity. In your configuration environment, use the search function to open the activity. For more information, see Configuration Environment of SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
