SIMG_SB_SS_METH - Define Sliding Scale Properties

In this IMG activity you enter the data required to set up a sliding scale method, which is used in the Gas Plant Sliding Scale transaction (Logistics → Production and Revenue Accounting → Sales and Balancing → Contractual Allocations → Gas Plant Processing → Gas Plant Sliding Scale ).

The system uses the sliding scale method to calculate the return to lease percentage that is specified in the gas plant agreement between the plant and lease owners.

In this activity you specify dimensions to be used for sliding scale method. A dimension has a function module associated with it, which the system uses to calculate a value.

Note: To define a new sliding scale method, you must create a function module with new calculation details and then tie the function module to the dimension at the Sliding Scale Dimensions Overview screen.
