Payment card splitting is sometimes required in the settlement of payment card transactions with clearing houses. Payment card transactions for a specific payment card type are normally all settled with the same clearing house. With payment card splitting, transactions can be divided between two or more clearing houses, according to splitting criteria such as bank number or card number.
In this step you maintain the name and description of the different payment card split results. These specify which clearing house the payment card transactions are to be settled with.
The splitting result is used in clearing house determination.
