SIMG_SSR_0058 - Define conversion groups

You define conversion groups to group objects requiring field value conversions with the same rules.
The fields that are to be converted have to be selected from a fixed set of fields.
For each field, outbound and inbound value conversion items need to be specified.
The "from" values can be specified as intervals by specifying a low and a high value, or as single item conversions by specifying a low value but no high value.
A number of locations in the retail network have a specific backoffice system named "BO1". This backoffice system locally uses material numbers differing from the SAP material numbers.
In this case you:
- Define conversion group BO1
- Activate material conversion for conversion group BO1 (field MATNR)
- Maintain the inbound and outbound conversion records
- Assign the conversion group to all locations using the backoffice system BO1 in the location master
- In all of the retail network interfaces that are used, you activate the SSR field value conversion by activating the appropriate predefined business add-in
