SIMG_SSR_0183 - Assign collective printing parameters

In this step, you assign an update procedure to a print type group for a specific callup point. For each callup point, you define how each target field will be filled. You can specify:

• Source table and field, so that the value of the source field is transferred to the target field

• A method for filling the print index table. The method can be used to fill the specified target field by performing a determination based on the source data and other parameters

• A constant that will be used in every instance

For each callup point, you can assign a skip update routine. The skip update routine enables the user to specify whether the update to the print index table should take place.

The system checks that:

• Field types of source and target fields are compatible

• Field types and lengths of constants are compatible

• Target fields include all fields specified in include structure ROIRA_VAR_KEY (except where the source document category specifies otherwise)

• Target fields include a subset of the fields specified in the include structure ROIRA_VAR_FLDS.
