SIMG_SSR_0216 - Define meter events
CPI1466 during Backup PERFORM Short ReferenceThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this step, you define the events that are used in meter reading processing.
These events are used to determine the field settings in meter reading maintenance and are used by the system to determine how meter reading records are to be handled.
Each meter reading event must refer to one of the 5 basic events that are delivered by SAP. These are:
- A Sales flow
- B Estimated flow
- F Flush
- Q Quantity
- R Meter reset
After defining 5 meter reading events for the 5 basic events provided by SAP, you require an additional event for identifying theft.
In the case of theft the missing fuel will be recorded by a sales flow event but you do not want to invoice the dealer for the stolen quantity, so you have to enter a negative quantity to deduct the stolen quantity from the quantity that the dealer is to be invoiced for. For this you could use the quantity event and enter a negative quantity.
Therefore, in this case, the entry could be as follows:
Event | Description | Reference | Description | Q(Qty Indicator) |
---|---|---|---|---|
T | Theft | Q | Quantity | (Indicator is defaulted) |
You should create at least one event for each of the reference events.
