SIMG_TDP_0029 - Define Order Type-Dependent Default Values

For each plant and order type, it is possible to default certain parameters into the header of a production order.

At the time of creation of a production order, the system will read this table to default in both handling type and valuation type.

When a production order is created of type 'OT01' at plant 'PLNT', the handling type '01' and the valuation type 'UNTAX' are defaulted into the header. Depending on the settings in table OI001, these values may or may not be altered. You can maintain table OI001 by choosing:

• TDP -> Global Settings -> Default Values -> Excise Duty Defaults for Production Order -> Maintain company code parameters for production order.

During the creation of a production order, the system will look firstly at table T399X and then at table OIH40. If a handling type and a valuation type are found in table OIH40, dependant on the material type and the excise duty group of the main product, the defaults from table T399X will be overwritten. You can maintain table OIH40 by choosing:

• TDP -> Global Settings -> Default Values -> Excise Duty Defaults for Production Order -> Maintain default values dependent on material type and tax group.

Should no handling type or valuation type be defaulted, an error message will be displayed and you must enter the data manually.
