SIMG_TDP_0030 - Define Default Values Dependent on Mat.Type and Excise Duty Group
SUBST_MERGE_LIST - merge external lists to one complete list with #if... logic for R3up General Data in Customer MasterThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
For each company code, plant, order type, material type and excise duty group, it is possible to default certain parameters into the header of a production order.
At the time of creation of a prodution order, the system will read this table in order to default in both handling type and valuation type.

-----------------------------------------
When a prodution order is created for company code 'OIL1', at plant 'PLNT', order type 'OT01', for all unspecified material types (see 'further notes' for information on masking) with excise duty group '01', the handling type '99' and the valuation type 'UNTAX' are defaulted into the header. Depending on the settings in table OI001, these values may or may not be changeable. You can maintain table OI001 by choosing:
- TDP -> Global Settings -> Default Values -> Excise Duty Defaults for Production Order -> Maintain company code parameters for production order
During the creation of a production order, the system will look firstly at table T399X and then at table OIH40. If a handling type and a valuation type are found in table OIH40, dependant on the material type and the excise duty group of the main product, the defaults from table T399X, dependant on order type, will be overwritten. You can maintain table T399X by choosing:
- TDP -> Global Settings -> Default Values -> Excise Duty Defaults for Production Order -> Maintain order-type dependent default values
Should no handling type or valuation type be defaulted, an error message will be displayed and you must enter the data manually.
When masked entries are used, it is important to note that explicit entries always take precedence over masked entries.
