SIMG_TICL319 - Define Time Reference per Policy Product

Use

In this IMG activity you define the following time references for each policy product:

• Standard time zone

This standard time zone applies to the time of loss/claim on the initial screen for claim creation.

To convert the claim time to UTC, the system uses the time zone defined here and not the time zone stored as default in the user profile. With the help of this unique reference time, it is possible to establish without any doubt whether the contract was covered at the time of the claim/loss, or not.

This determination itself is not time-dependent and is therefore performed separately from the other determinations for the internal claim type.

• Time reference:

You use the time reference to define whether the customizing versons of the policy product are read on the basis of the incident date or benefit period.
