Define the number range intervals from which a handling unit (HU) identification is obtained.

According to your organizational structure, you can assign the relevant intervals for internal and external number assignment to a combination of packaging material type and plant/storage location.

• Select an internal number range interval that is used by internal number range assignment to determine the handling unit identification.

• Select an external number range interval that is used to check the externally-issued identification of a handling unit.
