In this IMG activity, you make VAS-related settings for your warehouses.

You have defined a procedure for VAS template determination in IMG activity Define Procedure for VAS Template Determination.

Do the following for each warehouse:

  1. In the Time UoM field, enter a time unit of measure for VAS in the warehouse.
  2. In the Procedure field, enter the procedure for VAS template determination. The standard procedure provided is 000006.
  3. Select AutVASExit if you want to automatically create a transfer order (TO) from a work center to the next destination after the last of the VAS orders to be executed in the work center has been confirmed.
  4. Define movement types for the following movements:
  • Between work centers

  • Between a work center and final outbound destination (for deliveries)

  • Between a work center and final outbound destination (for TRs)

  • Between a work center and final putaway destination

Ensure that the Manual TO creation not allowed indicator is not set for any of these movement types (IMG activity Define Movement Types).
  1. You can enter a requirement type for which the system will automatically place tracking numbers in TOs created for movements between work centers. You must enter VAS orders as your requirement type. In order to do this, you must first define VAS orders as a requirement type in IMG activity Define Requirement Types:
    1. In the Requirement type field, enter a digit or letter that has not already been used for your warehouse.
    2. In the Requirement type descrptn field, enter VAS Order.
    3. In the Field name (matl doc.) field, enter LVVOR-VORID.
  2. In the Post Ctrlfield, choose an option to determine the system response to attempts to posting outbound deliveries.
  3. In the Max Days field, enter the allowed maximum number of days for the status of an unprocessed VAS order to remain unchanged, without an alert being raised in the alert monitor.
