Use

In this IMG activity you configure permitted claim item grouping categories. You can make the configuration for either an existing claim type or for a new claim type.

  • To configure the permitted claim item grouping categories for an existing claim type, select the claim type.
  • To configure the permitted claim item grouping categories for a new claim type, enter a key that does not yet exist and a name for the new claim type.

At the level of Version you can define the name of a version of the claim type and also the time point from which it is to be valid.

At the level of Permitted Subclaim Types you can define how many subclaims may be created for each subclaim type.

At the level of Permitted Claim Item Grouping Categoriesyou can assign the permitted claim item grouping categories for each permitted subclaim type. All claim item grouping categories must have been defined in IMG activity Enhance Claim Item Grouping Categories.

At the level of Permitted Reasons for Creating Claim Item Groupings you can assign reasons for creating a claim item grouping. All reasons must have been defined in IMG activity Define Reasons for Creating a Claim Item Grouping.

At the level of Permitted Specifications of Reason you can assign specifications of reasons for creating a claim item grouping. All specifications must have been defined in IMG activity Define Further Specification of Reasons for Creating a Claim Item Grouping Category.

At the level of Permitted Types of Claim Item Grouping you can define the types of claim item grouping category. All claim item grouping categories must have been defined in IMG activity Enhance Claim Item Grouping Categories.

At the level of Permitted Accident Indicators, you can assign the accident indicators that have been defined in IMG activity Define Accident Indicator.

At the level of Permitted Subrogation Claim Indicators, you can assign the subrogation claim indicators that have been defined in IMG activity Define Subrogation Claim Indicator.
