SIMG_VC_WFD_EOP_APP - Define Application Names for EoP Check
BAL Application Log Documentation General Data in Customer MasterThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Maintain applications that use workforce assignment data and need to be validated with an end of purpose (EoP) check.
In this configuration step, you can maintain a list of applications for which an EoP check needs to be performed for the use of workforce assignment data.
The application name is used to perform the EoP check and serves as a condition field while maintaining rules in the Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) application configuration step ( /IRMPOL transaction, WFD_ASSIGNMENT ILM object), where residence and retention periods are defined for workforce assignment data.
In a standard system, SAP delivers a list of applications that are EoP enabled or that provide a where-used check.
If you have custom applications that perform an EoP check, you need to specify these applications in this configuration step.
The corresponding custom classes which perform the EoP checks also need to be specified in this configuration step for each application.
Maintain application names and EoP class names:
Appl Name | Component | Description | Inactive | Class Name |
---|---|---|---|---|
Appl_A | Appl_A_COMP | Application A | X | Appl_A_CL1 |
Appl_A | Appl_A_COMP | Application A | Appl_A_CL2 | |
Appl_B | Appl_B_COMP | Application B | Appl_B_CL1 | |
Appl_X | Appl_X_COMP | Application X | X | Appl_X_CL1 |
