Assign datafeed notation to the general volatilies of the volatility database.

This app allows you to manually enter translation tables between the datafeed and your master data.

You define how you want to import general volatilities using the external partner program of your datafeed provider.

The translation tables must be defined before you can run any task to request market data. You need to define a translation table only once for one type of market data.

  1. Choose Data Provider for instrument class 30 Volatilities (General).
  2. Choose New Entries.
  3. In the Administration area, make the following settings:
    1. Choose a predefined volatility name, such as SFX_EUR_USD.
    2. Choose a predefined profile, such as SEURUSD_10C_2W.
    3. Choose the predefined volatility type 002.
  4. In the Datafeed Parameters area:
    1. Enter the instrument name, such as EUR_USD~10C_2W:30.
    2. Enter the data source.
    3. Enter the property of an instrument.
The term is predefined by the datafeed provider/external market data supplier.
  1. You can also enter an explanation.
  • Save your entries.
