SIMG_V_EAM_PLANT_M - Assign Notification Types to Maintenance Planning Plants

In this IMG activity, you define which notification types are used when you create maintenance notifications in the Report and Repair Malfunction app.

You assign exactly one notification type to each combination of plant and origin. Notifications that are created in the Report and Repair Malfunction app have the origin Malfunction Report. When you report a malfunction for a technical object in this Fiori app, the system reads the notification type that is assigned to the planning plant of the technical object and creates a notification with this notification type.

Note: You must assign at least one notification type to a combination of plant and origin Malfunction Report. Otherwise you cannot create any notifications in the Report and Repair Malfunction app.

In this IMG activity, you assign the notification type Malfunction Report (M2) to the combination of origin Malfunction Report and plant 0001. You then create a notification in the Report and Repair Malfunction app for the technical object PUMP01 that is assigned to the planning plant 0001. The system then creates the notification with notification type M2.
