SIMG_V_ICL_CRESPROF - Define Reserve Profile Determination

Use

In this IMG activity you define reserve profile determinations. You thus define which reserve types the system uses to distribute reserves in multiple insurance.

Make the following settings for each reserve profile determination:

• Define the level at which the reserve profile determination should take place.

The following levels are possible:

• Distribution plan

• Distribution plan item

• Enter the following attributes for each reserve profile determination:

• Claim reserve type

• Distribution plan type

• Participation type

• Settlement type

Requirements

You have performed the following IMG activities:

• Define Reserve Types

• Define Distribution Plan Types

• Define Participation Types

• Define Settlement Types

Standard settings

Activities

Perform the following activities:

• For each claim reserve type, create a reserve profile at the level of Distribution Plan.

In the Reserve Type (MI) field, enter the reserve type for 'Correction Reserves in Multiple Insurance' that you created for the claim reserve type.

• For each combination of participation type and settlement type that occurs in a distribution plan, create a reserve profile at the level of Distribution Plan Item.

In the Reserve Type (MI) field, enter the required reserve type for 'Reserves in Multiple Insurance'.
