In this Customizing activity, you define, which fields are used for content proposals from a reference, when a new material master record is created.

Note - For Retail Only

The field content proposal can be also defined in such a way, that the field content is copied from a reference whenever the reference is changed.

If a reference is changed, the field content is copied as follows:

• from the generic material to its variants

• from the reference plant to dependent plants

• from the client level to lower areas of validity for the same material

You can restrict the material categories for which the field content is copied.
