In the administration data for the Workflow Builder, presettings are maintained for the Workflow Builder and the workflow definition. The settings are as follows:

• Decision task as presetting for user decision

• Presetting of time unit for deadline monitoring

• Workflow system administrator as presetting for workflow definition

The enterprise-specific organizational plan must be maintained.

Only maintain the standard workflow administrator and do not change the other entries.

Carry out the IMG activity.

Specify the standard workflow system administrator on the tab page Administrator. To do this, first choose the relevant object type in Organizational Management and then identify the standard workflow system administrator. The standard workflow system administrator must be maintained in each client again.

Switch to the tab page Default Values.

Change the time unit, if applicable.

Change the decision task, if applicable. This changes the presetting for all user decisions created in the future. Set the persistence profile that is to be used as standard for new workflows.

You should definitely execute automatic Workflow Customizing, because it also makes other important settings. You can find automatic Workflow Customizing in the Implementation Guide by choosing SAP Business Workflow / Webflow-> Maintain Standard Settings for SAP Business Workflow.

If you have already maintained a standard workflow system administrator, it is not overwritten by automatic workflow Customizing.
