In the following cases, the system generates a task-related transaction:

  • When a Web form is created to start a workflow or execute a work item from the Internet.
  • When a start transaction is created with a start form for a workflow.

A namespace template and a package must be maintained to enable the system to generate a unique name for the task-related transactions.

Perform the IMG activity.

Maintain a two-character namespace template.

Specify the package to which the task, the generated transaction and all programs required are assigned.

The system reserves the relevant namespaces and generates the following prefixes:

  • The transaction code prefix Y
  • The module pool prefix SAPMY
