With this activity you can define decision alternatives for workflow tasks that have to be contained in the task filter.

These decision alternatives are relevant if the filter is active. If the filter is not active, all work items are read.

You can use decision keys to add steps to the user decision service. By using these keys a decision can be applied to a task. This function is implemented when using the following enhancement spot for customer implementation: /IWWRK/ES_WF_WI_BEFORE_UPD_IB.

You can define descriptions for decision keys in multiple languages. You can enter text only in the language with which you are logged on to the system. If a task is read in a certain language and no text is available for the decision key in this language, the text is read in the kernel language of the system.

To define decision keys:

1. Choose New Entries.
2. In the Maintenance View for Workflow TCM Decision area, enter the Workflow ID, the Step ID and a Description Text in the respective columns.
