SAP E-Book

When deliveries are distributed from the SAP S/4HANA system to the WMS, the delivery type is converted. This is necessary for two reasons: on the one hand, it must be possible to distinguish deliveries of the WMS from deliveries of the SAP S/4HANA system. On the other hand, the documents are handled differently in the WMS since as opposed to the SAP S/4HANA system no preceding document exists for them (WMS deliveries are always "deliveries without reference").

An outbound delivery of delivery type "LF" was created in the SAP S/4HANA system and distributed to the decentralized WMS. In the conversion table, it has been defined that outbound deliveries of delivery type "LF" are converted into delivery type "WOD".

The delivery types necessary for the conversion, and the logical system must be defined in advance.

SAP does not deliver conversions in the standard system, since the table key contains the logical system which may be different from customer to customer.

SAP recommends that you make the following entries in the table in order to be able to work with the component:

,, Orig. system,, Del. type S/4HANA,, Del. type WMS
,, ,, DIG,, ,, ,, ,, WIG
,, ,, DOG,, ,, ,, ,, WOG
,, ,, EL,, ,, ,, ,, WID
,, ,, LF,, ,, ,, ,, WOD
,, ,, LO,, ,, ,, ,, WOD
,, ,, LR,, ,, ,, ,, WRD
,, ,, NL,, ,, ,, ,, WNL

Maintain a conversion for all delivery types for which deliveries must be created in the WMS.

If the system cannot find a conversion for the delivery type of the SAP S/4HANA system when the delivery is created in the WMS, the delivery is rejected. This means that the delivery type from the SAP S/4HANA system is not copied.
