The processing of performance data serves as a basis for controlling the effort involved and for calculating incentive wage. Planned data and actual data as well as the processor (for example, the picker) are updated in the transfer order header.

To ensure that the transfer order will not be too large in scope and therefore the workload in the warehouse is distributed evenly, we have introduced a split in the transfer order. An appropriate sort sequence must take place before the split is made. You can set the parameters for this sorting yourself.

Define your own profiles for processing the respective functions. The profiles contain the most important features for the different procedures.

Decide which profiles you want to define and set the respective parameters for them. Here you do not have to pay attention to the sequence in which you create the profiles.

  1. Profile for performance data:

Define the performance data profile for the warehouse number and the profile number. The profile number should refer in the control table for processing performance data to the warehouse number, movement type, source storage type, and destination storage type.

  1. Here you decide whether the performance data should be created and to what degree of detail.
The following features for performance data are possible:
  • You do not wish to enter performance data.

  • Only the planned data should be calculated.

  • The actual data should be entered.

  • The planned data should be calculated and the actual data entered.

  • The incentive wage should be determined.

The incentive wage assumes that you determine the planned data and, in the case of the actual data, that you enter the processor (personnel number). Transfer orders for which the incentive wage is to be determined are taken into consideration by the report RLT1HR00 (transmission of performance data to HR) and transferred to the HR module.
  1. If you require a split in the transfer order according to movement units (for example, entire pallets, a unit to be moved in the warehouse), you can achieve this using the indicator for splitting a single TO. For each movement unit, the system creates a transfer order with a single item.
  2. Further parameters can be set for the actual times in the transfer order:
  • The actual time should not be entered.

  • The actual time and the net time should be entered.

  • The start and end times should be entered manually.

  • The start and end times should be posted automatically.

The start date and time are posted during the assignment of the transfer order to a processor. The end date and time are posted during execution of the transaction Confirm transfer order.
  1. With the indicator for the entry requirement for the actual data, you can control whether - during execution of the transaction for confirming the transfer order - a dialog box for entering the actual data is to appear on the screen. The selection of the fields proposed in this dialog box depends on the indicator for "Actual time required in TO". If the indicator for the performance data states that you do not want to enter the actual data explicitly, the indicator for the entry requirement of the actual data must not be set.
  • Profile for sorting in the transfer order
  • Here you determine a sort sequence for the transfer order. For each sort profile you can store sort criteria for up to 15 sort fields. (For example, in sort field 1 you could set the material number, in sort field 2 the source storage bin. The remaining 13 sort fields remain empty. The system would sort by material number and source storage bin.) An additional indicator determines whether the sort sequence is in ascending or descending order.

    1. Profile for splitting the transfer order

For each warehouse number and split profile number, define a split profile for the transfer order. The profile number is an attribute in the performance data table and is defined for each warehouse number, movement type, source storage type, and destination storage type. You can define limit values for the target time, weight, and volume. These limits represent the uppermost limit after which the split is to take place. You must define a time unit for the target time. The units for weight and volume are defined for each warehouse number. If you do not define any units for volume and weight, the weight and volume data in the transfer order items are not updated. The respective split criterion is not taken into consideration. If you do not specify any limit values in the profile table for the split, these split criteria are not considered either.

For the split according to picking area, there is a special indicator that can be set for each profile. For sorting the individual transfer orders, you can assign a sort profile number to the split. This number is defined in the sort profile (see item 2 above).
