In this section you define the background jobs for selecting critical warehouse monitor objects.

For each background job, you can enter the following data:

  • Job name
Arbitrary name that identifies the batch job.
  • Program name
Name of the program that controls the data selection.
  • Variant
Name of the variant to which the background job is to refer.
User name
Indicator for authorization check.
  • Repetition period
Duration time (for example, hour or day) after which the background job is to run automatically. Make sure that this duration time is the same as the defined "critical time" in the respective warehouse monitor object.
  • Start date
Date that defines the day when the background job is to be executed for the first time.

You can restart background jobs that have already expired by assigning new dates and print specifications to them.

Data selection is only appropriate if critical parameters are defined for the individual warehouse monitor objects and if these have also been activated.

In the standard system, no background jobs for data selection are supplied. The required programs for data selection are listed below:

  1. RLLL01SE Determination of unconfirmed transfer orders
  2. RLLL02SE Determination of unprocessed transfer requirement items
  3. RLLL03SE Determination of critical posting change documents
  4. RLLL04SE Determination of critical deliveries
  5. RLLL05SE Determination of negative stocks in storage bins
  6. RLLL06SE Determination of stocks in interim storage types
  7. RLLL07SE Determination of critical stocks in production
  1. Enter the name of the background job that you want to create or restart. Also, maintain the data for the program, variant, and user name.
You can call up a variant overview through the menu. You can pick a variant from this overview.
  1. Maintain the data for the repetion period, the start date, and the print specifications.
