In this activity, you determine how the workload data is updated with the help of the Logistics Information System:

  1. Field section "Update load data"
    1. "Rough workload forecast active?" indicator

      This indicator is set if updating is active for an information structure in the rough workload forecast.

      To control the updates, choose "Control...":
      In the "Rough load forecast" group box, you can now define for the total overview and the individual warehouse processes whether you want to use the information structures of SAP or customer-individual information structures. Also, you can define the type of updating.
      You will find information on document-specific settings for updates for the documents (purchase order, sales order, delivery) by choosing "Description procedure....".
    2. "Wave picks active?" indicator

      This indicator is set if the updating of load data for wave picks is active.

      To control the updates, choose "Control...":
      In the "Wave Picks" group box, you can now define the type of update.
      You can find information pertaining to document-specific settings for the update in documents (purchase order, sales order, delivery) with the Procedure description button.
    3. Indicator "Write log?"
      If you wish to have a log created for the update of load data, set this indicator (see also Log for workload data update).
  2. "Units load data" group box

    Here you can define in which weight and volume unit the load data is to be updated (see also specifications on capacity behavior in the activity Maintain wave picks profile).
