In this activity you can define shipping material types. In this way, packaging materials with a similar handling load can be grouped into packaging material types.
The definition of packaging materials from a load viewpoint in connection with the customer enhancement Additional data for packaging material and time slot is only necessary with the following function:
- Rough workload estimate: Use of packaging material type as feature
- Wave picks: Use of capacity restriction MaxNoPackagingMaterials
