In this step you can assign a packaging material type to each storage unit type. When you putaway a storage unit, the system uses the packaging material type of the handling unit to determine and propose a storage unit type. The storage unit type is essential for putaway, and influences the putaway strategy (see also: Activate Storage Bin Type Search).
