You can use the following user exits for resource-related billing before Release 4.5A:

  • RV45HFZZ enhancement
  • USEREXIT_INV_REQ_ITEM

  • USEREXIT_INV_REQ_ITEM_PARTNER

You can use the following user exits for resource-related billing as of Release 4.5A:

  • V46H0001 enhancement
  • EXIT_SAPLV46H_001

  • EXIT_SAPLV46H_002

  1. Create the enhancement. To do this, either create a new project or use an existing one.
Supplement the SAP coding. SAP provides you with the necessary function modules, including short text, interface, and documentation.
  1. Activate the project.
Only then will the ABAP coding and the enhancements be effective.

Unlike modifications, enhancements are release-insensitive because they are not part of the SAP coding but part of a name range reserved for the customer. You can find the documentation on enhancements with the "SAP documentation" pushbutton in the enhancement transaction.
