SIMG_XXMENUOLSDMODB2 - Define Copying Requirements
General Material Data BAL_S_LOG - Application Log: Log header dataThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Copying requirements are FORM routines that check certain requirements as a precondition for the copying process. Copying requirements define whether
- a quotation may be copied into a standard order
- text items are copied during the copying of a delivery into a billing document
- the posting block should be checked during the copying of a billing document into a cancellation document.
In the document flow you have to specify the copying requirements you want to apply, regardless of whether you use the copying requirements delivered with the standard system or your own copying requirements. In the document flow, you can display a list of available copying requirements. Similarly, you have to specify the copying requirements for texts in the access sequences for text determination. This section describes how to define copying requirements for the following documents according to the specific needs of your organization:
- Sales orders
- Deliveries
- Billing documents
- Sales activities
The same procedure is used to create copying requirements for texts.
The standard system does not include predefined copying requirements for sales activities.
- First check whether you can use the copying requirements delivered with the standard system.
- Either overwrite an existing copying requirement or select a group number from the number range reserved for customer modifications (600-699) and enter the corresponding description.
- Program the copying requirement in the editor.
- Activate the copying requirement.
- Enter a long text that describes the meaning in more detail.
- Enter the copying requirement in the document flow for the document for which you want to use the copying requirement.
