Analyze the SAP data fields in the customer master record.

Determine which fields in the SAP System correspond to those in your old customer master, and can therefore be copied directly, and which fields are missing in the SAP System or can only be used in an amended form.

This analysis should result in a comparison of the fields in your old customer master, which can be copied directly into SAP fields, with fields which do not have a counterpart in the SAP System and can only be used in a different form or replaced by new fields.

You will find information on analysing the fields in the customer master record in the documentation report on batch input RFBIDE00.

When analyzing the fields, take into account the the customer master record's dependency upon account group.

If you require new fields, you must specify the appropriate field content. Distinguish between required-entry fields, optional fields and display fields (field control).
