In this Customizing activity, you define the subject codes that are maintained in the module group data for the module groups or specializations. In statistical reporting, subject codes are returned for specializations.
In this Customizing activity, you do the following:
- Define subject codes at the reporting university and federal state level
- Define subject codes at the German government level
- Assign subject codes at the state level to the subject codes at the government level
- Define subject area
- Assign subject codes at the government level to a subject area
- Define subject grouping
- Assign subject area to a subject grouping
Subject grouping is derived from the subject code of a student's specialization based on the specified assignments. It is required in quick reporting.
