In this Customizing activity, you create target degrees by defining combinations of degree codes and student study types.

A target degree is the qualification or degree awarded to a student upon successful completion of his or her studies. In statistical reporting, the target degree is a combination of the degree code of the qualification that the student is awarded after graduation and the following student study type values:

• First study

• Second study

• Post-graduate study

• Complementary study

• Doctoral study

• Further education study

• Consecutive master program

• Follow-up study

• No target degree

You created the degree codes in Customizing activity Maintain Degree Codes.
