You use this customizing activity to specify the RFC destination used for different source systems, for data replication and tax payable posting.

When data from multiple source systems is replicated to the HANA database on SCP, the source system value specified using this customizing activity enables you to identify data originating from a particular source system. For tax payable posting, the RFC destination value specified in this customizing activity is used to fetch details of reported documents.

The RFC destination identifier specified here is appended to the names of replication tasks and subscription processes to enable you to identify the replication artifacts created for an RFC destination.

When you specify an RFC destination and its details, you also need to specify the purpose of this RFC destination - whether it is to be used for replicating data or for fetching data for tax payable posting.

You first need to create an RFC destination for your SAP Document and Reporting Compliance service subaccount, using transaction sm59.

While creating an RFC destination, note the following:

  • Create this RFC destination as an HTTP connection to external serverand select its connection type as G.
  • Contact your SAP support team to know the target host value. This value is different for test accounts and production accounts.
  • Specify the following path prefix value:
  • For data replication, it must be /acrsmanagedatacore/dashboard/api/v1/uploadData?reportGroupID=VAT&businessUnitID=FIN.

  • For tax payable posting, it must be /acrscore/dashboard/api.

  • On the Logon & Securitytab, specify your user ID and password for your SCP account, based on the purpose of the RFC destination:
  • For data replication, specify the credentials of a user who is assigned to the ACRS Data Administratorgroup.

  • For tax payable posting, specify the credentials of a user who is assigned to the ACRS Report Data Administratorgroup.
