This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the SAP ERP component. You can use this BAdI to influence the creation and change process of suppliers in a system landscape in which SAP ERP is the central system for managing supplier master data. This is relevant when supplier master data is distributed from the buy side in SAP Supplier Lifecycle Management to SAP ERP.

This BAdI allows you to control the change and creation process as follows:

• If the BAdI is implemented, no supplier-related actions are performed. You can then run customer-specific processes in SAP ERP, for example, checks and approval workflows.

• If the BAdI is not implemented, the supplier master data is created or updated in the SAP ERP system.
