SMI_BADI_USER_DETAIL - BAdI: Enhance Social Media User Data

You use this Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Social Intelligence CA-EPT-SMIcomponent. You use it to enhance or maintain the social media user information available in the standard Social Intelligence (SI) and the user-created tables. The BadI can also be used to modify the data that is read from the tables with user's own data.

You use the following APIs to maintain the social media user information in the following tables:

The BAdI, if implemented, is called during the maintenance of the social media user information. Once the BAdI is called, you can use the corresponding BAdI methods to enhance the social media information maintained in the tables. In the above-mentioned APIs, for every CRUD operation, one method exists in the BAdI. You can classify the BAdI methods based on the following CRUD operations:

• Create BAdI methods

You can use these methods to edit data that would be added to into the standard Social Intelligence tables and also to the user-created tables. You also can add data to into any newly created fields in the tables and also write logic to populate them.

• Read BAdI methods

You can use these methods to modify the data that is being read.

• Delete BAdI methods

You can use these methods to delete data from the user-created tables.

• Update BAdI methods

You use these methods to edit data that would be updated in the standard tables. You can also can update or add related data to the user-created tables. Or you can update the data of any newly created fields in the tables.
