SMI_BDI_COUNTRY_MAP - BAdI: Map Country Name to Country Code

The Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in component Social Media Intelligence Foundation (CA-EPT-SMI). You can use this BAdI to provide specific mapping logic for a particular country name of the social data post that comes from various social media channels, with a corresponding standard country key. This mapping is then used to fill the social post with the corresponding country key.

You can use the Business Add-In (BAdI) method MAP_COUNTRYNAME_TO_COUNTRYCODE to specify the country key to be mapped to a particular country name.

The following example implementations are available:

Class for BAdI : CL_SMI_SOCIALDATA_COUNTRY_MAP

This class is the default implementation class for the BAdI which provides the default mapping between the country name and country key as found in the Customizing table maintained by the view Social Data Country Name Mapping View (V_SMI_CNTRYCNFG).
