SMW3WD - Detect Aborted BDoc Messages

Program RSMWFLOWWATCHDOG (transaction SMW3WD) detects aborted BDoc messages and sets the following error status:

E05

Inbound processing failed

This status is set for BDoc messages that were created in inbound processing. If these BDoc messages remain in intermediate status for a certain time (time interval to be defined by the user), they are set to error status E05. That means, it is possible to recognize them as error situations.

E06

Outbound processing failed

This status is set for BDoc messages that were created in outbound processing. If these BDoc messages remain in intermediate state for a certain time (time interval to be defined by the user), they are set to error status E06. That means, it is possible to recognize them as error situations.

Schedule the detection of aborted BDoc messages as a background job in transaction SM36. It is recommended to schedule a periodical background job that is executed every 15 to 30 minutes.
