In this, step you create a logical port on SAP Solution Manager, for the Partner Test Management Tool.

The connection can be lost if the maximum processing time for the Web AS port is exceeded when transferring large amounts of data.

The maximum processing time is in the application server instance profile parameter icm/server_prot_<x>, where <x> is a number. The parameter PROCTIMEOUT is set for the corresponding protocol (HTTP or HTTPS). It should be at least 300.

Example: icm/server_port_0 PROT=HTTP, PORT=50010, PROCTIMEOUT=300

If you want to set this parameter, proceed as described in the IMG activity "Maintain Profile Parameter".

  1. Start transaction SOAMANAGER.
  2. Choose 'Web Service Configuration'.
  3. Choose 'Consumer Proxy' in Field 'Search by'. Enter 'CO_AGS_BPCA_3PTM_API’ in field 'Search Pattern' and choose 'Go'.
  4. Mark the consumer proxy 'CO_AGS_BPCA_3PTM_API’ and choose ‘Apply Selection’.
  5. Go to the Configurations tab and choose ‘Create’.
  6. Enter the following data:
  • Logical Port Name: AGS_BPCA_3PTM_API

  • Description: Logical Port AGS_BPCA_3PTM_API

  1. Choose configuration type ‘WSDL-Based Configuration’.
  2. Depending on whether you have downloaded the endpoint WSDL from the PTMT, or have only determined its URL, choose ‘Via File’ or ‘Via Http Access’.
  3. Browse to the file, or enter the WSDL URL and access data to the PTMT.
  4. Choose ‘Apply Settings’.
  5. If more than one binding is found in the WSDL, a screen with the title ‘Select one binding from the list of potential bindings indicated by WSDL document’ opens. Select the binding that has Authentication Method ‘wsse:SAMLAssertion’.
  6. Choose ‘Apply Settings’.
  7. Choose ‘Save’.
