SOLMAN_BPCA_EX_TRUST - Set Up Solution Manager to trust the Test Management Tool as SAML2 Issuer

In this step, you register the Partner Test Management Tool (PTMT) as a trusted Security Token Service Provider in Solution Manager.

1. Start Transaction SAML2
2. Go to Trusted Providers tab.
3. Choose ‘Security Toke Issuer’.
4. Choose ‘Add’ ‘manually’ ('upload Meta Data File' can be used if PTMT can provide Meta Data XML).
5. Enter a name that identifies the 3rd Party SAML Security Token Issuer.
6. Upload the certificate of the PTM SAML Security Token Issuer (Consult PTMT documentation on how to obtain the certificate).
7. Choose ‘Next’.
8. Do NOT enter a period.
9. Choose ‘Finish’.
10. Mark the newly created provider and choose ‘Edit’.
11. Unmark the Checkbox ‘SAML 2.0’.
12. Go to Identity Federation tab and choose Add.
13. Choose ‘Unspecified’.
14. In ‘Details of Name ID Format’, choose the entry according to PTM. For Solution Manager to Solution Manager, ‘Logon ID’ works if the same user exists on both systems. Otherwise a mapping in table USRETID is needed.)
15. Choose ‘Save’.
16. Choose ‘Enable’.
