This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the SV-SMG-SUP component. You can use this BAdI to map customer-specific field to generic fields that you can use in messages and reporting.

There are the following generic fields:

• 10 fields of data typ CHARACTER (length: 60)

• 10 fields of data typ DATE (length: 60)

• 10 fields of data typ DECIMAL (length: 15)

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enhancement Spot Elements Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).

BAdI Implementation

• AI_CRM_IM_GENFIELDS_DEFAULT

This BAdI Implementation is delivered active by default.

It maps the predefined generic fields to the interface parameters.

BAdI Method

• MAP_FIELDS

You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) method to map customer-specific fields to generic fields.

You can find example implementations in the BAdI Builder on the Enhancement Spot Element Definitionstab in the Implementation Example Classessection.

The following example implementation is available:
