This IMG activity enables you to change the settings for the automatic assignment of the Message Processor / Current Processor.

The parameter for using this functionality is called AIC_ASSIGN_PROCESSOR. The values for the customizing are provided in brackets in the cases below. These are also the settings which are provided by the system:

  • Case 1: (NONE) Do nothing
  • Case 2: (AUTO_NONE_POPUP) Automatic entry without user interaction. The logon user is written in the field
  • Case 3: (AUTO_POPUP_NO2READONLY) Automatic entry with popup. If you press button No, the system keeps read-only mode
  • Case 4: (AUTO_POPUP_NO2EDIT) Automatic entry with popup. If you button Nois clicked, the system goes into Edit mode without changing the Processor.

  • Incident Management: Case 4
  • Charm: Case 2

You can use the User Personalized customizing (Transaction SU3):

  • Only when customizing case 3 or 4 are set.
  • Allow users to bypass popup and have processor automatically entered
  • The parameter is called AI_CRM_POPUP_PROC. If you set it to ‘X’, the popup will be bypassed.

Default personalization in standard release:

1.,,Does not bypass the popup.

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Enter data:
  • Name: AIC_ASSIGN_PROCESSOR

  • Value: According to your preferred case, enter here the value (for instance for case 3: AUTO_POPUP_NO2READONLY)

  1. Save your entries.
