For the new transaction types SM*, you can specify in this IMG activity whether the fields in the Scope Assignment Block, and the Project field in the Detail Assignment Block, can be changed for a status. Depending on your process, this enables you to define when changes are possible in this field/assignment block.
The following field groups are supported:
Field group (project and solution) in Detail Assignment block:
ID: PROJECT_ID
The following transaction types are supported: SMCR, SMCT, SMHF, SMAD, SMMJ, SMTM and SMCG
Assignment block (scope)
ID: SCOPE
The following transaction types are supported: SMCR, SMCT
Release transport
ID: RELEASE_REQU
The following transaction types are supported: SMHF and SMTM
Create transport request
ID: CREATE_REQ
The following transaction types are supported: SMHF, SMMJ, and SMTM
Create test transport
ID: RELEASE_COPY
The following transaction types are supported: SMMJ
Create transport task
ID: CREATE_TASK
The following transaction types are supported: SMHF, SMMJ, and SMTM
Assign transport request
ID: ASSIGN_TRANSPORT
The following transaction types are supported: SMMJ
Decoupling a Transport Request
ID: DECOUPLE_TRANSPORT
The following transaction types are supported: SMMJ
- Choose New Entries.
- Choose the transaction type to which the setting is to apply. Then specify whether the setting is to apply to the assignment block or the project field.
- In the next column, determine the status value from the status profile of the transaction type for which the settings are to be effective.
- Then use the selection fields to determine the concrete settings.
- Save.
