Use

In this activity, you activate the SAP Business Workflowand use it for approvals.

Activities

  1. Activate the SAP Business Workflow by choosing Perform Automatic Workflow Customizing.
  2. Test the workflow settings by choosing Start Verification Workflow.
The system sends a work item to your inbox in the SAP Business Workflow in SAP GUI.

Result

For any change transactions that use the approval procedure and that you must approve, you receive work items in the WebClient UI (under Workflow Tasks on the Homescreen) and in the SAP Business Workplace in SAP GUI.

Note

This activity is reused in the following steps:

  • Define Requirement Process > Define Approval Procedures.
  • Define Requirement Process > Checklists.

This implies that all changes to status settings will be reflected in the above listed steps.

Log files are also displayed across scenarios / steps. As a result, you might see other user names due to log files written in other scenarios / steps.
