SOLMAN_DIAG_MON_CONN - Configure Satellite Systems

This set-up wizard configures the satellite systems to be monitored, initially.

For detailed information, see: Diagnostics and Advanced Set-Up Guide.

1. Start the Diagnostics Administration URL: http:// :/smd/admin.
2. Logon as J2EE administrator.
3. Choose the Managed System Set-Up tab.
4. Choose the Set-Up Managed Systems tab.
5. Enter J2EE administrator P4 port and logon information for the systems.

Diagnostics Agent (SMD Agent) und Diagnostics Server (SMD Server) communicate via P4 protocol.

1. Check the specified port and user by choosing PingJ2EE for this system.
2. Choose Set-Up to configuration one or all systems.
3. When you have received the set-up information, choose Save.
4. If you have changed JAVA parameters in the satellite system, you must restart it, to activate changes.

Note

If you add a new satellite system, update the overview, to get new information from Diagnostics Agent (SMD Agent).
