SOLMAN_DM_V_DOC_COPY - Specify/Retain Document Copy Options

This IMG activity specifies which attribute values are to be retained when you copy original documents.

You can specify copy options for the following attribute values. If you set the flag for the attribute value, the attribute value is retained when the document is copied.

• Person responsible for the document (parameter COPY_KEEP_RESPONSIBLE)

• Title of the document (parameter COPY_KEEP_TITLE)

• Status of the document (parameter COPY_KEEP_STATUS)

For the attribute value "Document Status":

If you set the flag for this attribute value, to retain the status of the original document for the copied document, the system checks whether the documentation type has a digital signature status schema. If so, the system resets the status to the initial value, to avoid inconsistencies.

Specify the attribute values to be retained. If, for example, you want to retain the person responsible for the document, set the flag for the COPY_KEEP_RESPONSIBLE parameter.
