This IMG activity specifies which document attributes are obligatory, for each documentation type. Values must then be specified for these attributes, when documents are created.

All customer-defined, and the following SAP attributes, can be obligatory:

  • Keywords ( IWB_SOLAR_CLASSIFICATION )
  • Comment (IWB_SOLAR_INFO_DOCU)
  • Priority (IWB_SOLAR_PRIO)
  • Technical name (IWB_TECH_NAME)

By default, the following SAP attributes are obligatory:

  • Title (DESCRIPTION)
  • Documentation type (IWB_SOLAR_DOCUTYPE)
  • Status (IWB_STATE)
  • Person responsible (IWB_RESPONSIBLE)
  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Choose the documentation type and the attribute which is to be obligatory for this documentation type.
  3. Save.

Note:

You cannot flag customer-specified attributes als obligatory in the transaction DMWB (Document Modelling Workbench).

If you do not specify a documentation type for an attribute, it is obligatory in all documentation types.
