The role SAP_SOL_RO_COMP authorizes users to display all versions of Solution Manager documents (display authorization). The role

SAP_SOL_RE_COMP only allows versions of a document with specified status values to be displayed (restricted display authorization or read authorization).

This activity specifies these status values.

Authorization for the activity READ(33) in the authorization object S_IWB, is checked.

Read authorization can also be granted for individual folder groups, like all access authorizations to documents in the Solution Manager.

The read authorization is for the contents of the documents:

• A user with read authorization can only display the last document version with one of the specified status values.

• If there is no version with one of these status values, a user with read authorization is shown the attributes of the current document version, but cannot read the contents of the current version.

Choose the document version status values which a user with read authorization is to be able to display, from the possible entries help for available status values.

The pre-defined status value RELEASED must be one of the values specified here, if a user with read authorization is to be able to generate a Business Blueprint document, configuration guide or test report for the folder group TEMPLATES.
