SOLMAN_EMAIL_AUTO - Automatic E-mailing of Reports

To have analysis reports sent automatically by e-mail, you need to specify one or more e-mail addresses in the SAP Solution Manager.

To be able to send e-mails, e-mail addresses must be entered in the user settings. Users must also have sufficient authorizations to send e-mails.

When reports for this session type are generated, they will be sent to the e-mail address specified. Note, that the e-mail client used by the recipients of the reports must be capable of displaying HTML e-mail, in particular multipart-related MIME documents.

1. Call the SAP Solution Manager (transaction SOLUTION_MANAGER).
2. Open your solution.
3. Choose Edit - Automatic E-mail transmission.

A dialog box is displayed.

1. Choose Create E-mail.

A second dialog box is displayed.

1. Select a session name from the Input Help, and specify an e-mail address.
2. Confirm.

The session type and the e-mail address are displayed in the first dialog box.

1. Choose Cancel.
