SOLMAN_ESD_IM_CONFIG - Set Up Roles to Complete or Confirm Issues

In this configuration activity, you define which roles are allowed to set the status of an issue or top issue to Completed or Confirmed. You do this bymaintaining the table AGS_ESD_CONFIG.

If you do not define the parameters described in this activity, all users will be able to complete and confirm issues and top issues.

The following roles are supported:

  • Creator
  • Requester
  • Processor

To define which roles can complete issues, proceed as follows:

  1. Create a new table entry.
  2. Select the area Issue Management.
  3. Enter the parameter ZSLFI_COMPLETED_ROLES.
  4. For the parameter values, enter the desired roles, separated by a semicolon (;). Leave blank if you want all users to be able to complete issues.
  5. Save.

To define which roles can confirm issues, proceed as follows:

  1. Create a new entry in the table.
  2. Select the area Issue Management.
  3. Enter the parameter ZSLFI_CONFIRMED_ROLES.
  4. For the parameter values, enter the desired roles, separated by a semicolon (;). Leave it blank if you want all users to be able to confirm issues.
  5. Save.

To define which roles can complete top issues, proceed as follows:

  1. Create a new table entry.
  2. Select the area Issue Management.
  3. Enter the parameter ZSLFT_COMPLETED_ROLES.
  4. For the parameter values, enter the desired roles, separated by a semicolon (;). Leave it blank if you want all users to be able to complete top issues.
  5. Save your entries.

To define which roles can confirm top issues, proceed as follows:

  1. Create a new table entry.
  2. Select the area Issue Management.
  3. Enter the parameter ZSLFT_CONFIRMED_ROLES.
  4. For the parameter values, enter the desired roles, separated by a semicolon (;). Leave it blank if you want all users to be able to confirm top issues.
  5. Save.

Only the creator can complete an issue:

  • Parameter name: ZSLFI_COMPLETED_ROLES
  • Parameter value: CREATOR

Both the creator and the requester can confirm a top issue:

  • Parameter name: ZSLFT_CONFIRMED_ROLES
  • Parameter value: CREATOR; REQUESTER
