SOLMAN_ESD_IM_NOTIFY - Change Notification E-mail Template and Overdue Days

In this configuration activity, you create a new template for an issue, top issue, or task, to send notifications. You can change the days to send overdue issues, top issues, or tasks.

Default Settings

• Default template to notify the processor and a selected person:
  
  Dear ,
  Please take the necessary action for the following :
  
  To access your work center, use the following link:
  
  Thank you for your support.
  
  

• Default template notify people on the overdue day (default: third day):
  
  Dear ,
  The following are overdue. Please take the necessary action:
  
  To access your work center, use the following link:
  
  Thank you for your support.
  

To change the content of the template, proceed as follows:

1. Run transaction SE61.
2. Choose the document class General Text (TX).
3. Choose a language.
4. To change the notification template, enter the name ISM_NOTIFICATION_TEMPLATE.
   To change the template for notification for overdue activities, enter the name ISM_NOTIFY_TEMPLATE.
5. Document source: Local.
6. Choose Change and adjust the document.
7. Save.

Note that you can only use the following placeholders, which cannot be changed:

• : name of the recipient

• : transaction type description

• : table of messages list

• : link to work center

• : name of sender

To change the overdue days, proceed as follows:

1. In transaction SM30, enter the table name AGS_ESD_CONFIG.
2. Create a new table entry.
3. Select the area Issue Management.
4. Enter the parameter ZISM_EMAIL_NOTIFY.
5. Enter the number of days.
6. Save.
