SOLMAN_EWA_JAVA_INFO - Information and Configuration Prerequisites

You only need to perform these IMG activities if you want to set-up EarlyWatch Alert for non-ABAP systems, for example Java systems.

BI EWA Reporting

You want to analyze contents across systems, and by time, from the SAP Solution Manager, e.g.:

• System information

• Application information

• Key Performance Indicators

The master guide in the Service Marketplace -> SAP Components -> SAP Solution Manager, contains a detailed scenario description.

You have:

• configured the Diagnostics.

• imported the latest ST-SER 700_2006_2_<xx>.

• installed CA Wily Introscope.

• activated Portal Activity Reporting (for Enterprise Portal)

• Add-on BI_CONT_7.03 for BI EWA Reporting and IT Performance Reporting

• The extractors for BI EWA Reporting are delivered in the software components:

• EarlyWatch Alert: ST

• Business Process Monitoring: ST-SER

• Diagnostics: ST-A/PI, ST-PI
